Legal
Website Terms
Last updated: 2026-10-15
These terms apply to your use of the public MakeBeacon website. They do not replace the separate written terms for a software, automation, data, design, bookkeeping, or other client project.
1. Website information and services
The website describes MakeBeacon’s business services, which may include Python and custom software, web applications, API development and integration, business-process automation, data cleaning and analysis, research and structured collection, graphic design, and bookkeeping support. A service page is an overview, not a promise that a particular project is available or suitable. MakeBeacon does not currently offer public website design or website development.
Descriptions, examples, and contact-form responses are for discussion and planning. They do not guarantee a particular result or constitute accounting, tax, legal, investment, or other regulated professional advice.
2. Project proposals and agreements
Submitting the contact form or receiving an automated acknowledgement does not by itself create a client engagement. Before work starts, MakeBeacon and the client must agree the project scope and commercial terms, including deliverables, fees, payment timing, schedule, review or revision process, support, and any relevant data or confidentiality requirements. Agreement may be recorded in a proposal, contract, or email exchange that clearly states the terms and acceptance.
The public contact form does not take payments. Project-specific prices, cancellation terms, refunds, ownership or licensing of project deliverables, and any warranties are set out in the applicable written project agreement.
3. Website content and intellectual property
The MakeBeacon name and branding, website text, graphics, page design, and other website materials are owned by MakeBeacon or used with permission. You may view and use the website for your own evaluation of MakeBeacon’s services. You may not copy, republish, sell, or use those materials as your own without written permission. Ownership and permitted use of client-specific work are determined by the relevant project agreement.
4. Information you submit
You are responsible for ensuring that information submitted through the contact form is accurate and that you are permitted to share it. Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, CNIC numbers, confidential client files, or other sensitive records through the public form. The handling of information submitted to the site is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use this website to break the law, send spam or abusive messages, submit information you are not authorized to share, attempt to access restricted systems, introduce malicious code, or interfere with the website’s security or operation.
6. Availability and third-party links
MakeBeacon may update, suspend, or remove website content or features. The site and its information are provided as available; uninterrupted access is not promised. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. MakeBeacon does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MakeBeacon is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from browsing or reliance on general website information. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability or a consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under the laws that apply in Pakistan.
8. Governing law and disputes
These website terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under relevant Pakistani law. If you have a concern about the website, please contact MakeBeacon first so the issue can be discussed. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Pakistan.
9. Changes and contact
MakeBeacon may revise these terms when the website or its services change. The updated date above identifies the current version. Questions about these terms may be sent to contact@makebeacon.com.
